Here is a sample of a whole engagement photo session, taken at the beach. Note that there are many different angles, poses, locations, and lighting during the session. These samples are small, but the full resolution delivered images are at 30 megapixels.
A Full Laguna Beach Engagement Photo Session
This is an example of a full Laguna Beach engagement photography portrait session in it’s entirety. The couple came from Las Vegas, but wanted what you can’t get in Las Vegas; the beach! So we did the entire engagement photography session at Laguna Beach, sunset and everything. We got pools of water and both of them were game for getting doused if it made for a great photo. This entire engagement photo session shows consistency and creativity during the whole session, showing the progression from the beginning of the shoot (were everyone is green and awkward) to the end of the shoot where our couples have developed muscle memory.
It’s important to understand that choosing a photographer means choosing the product that you want delivered to you (not just a portfolio or Instagram feed). You want to get some traditional “say cheese” photos, along with cute candids, funny bloopers, emotional intimates, and modern editorial photos. A photographer should not be a one trick pony, with only one look and one style and one dimension.
